Reporting into the Technical function, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day quality assurance activities across the site and ensuring that products consistently meet customer, legal, and company requirements.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong stakeholder management skills, with regular interaction across Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and Technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the QA team on site.
- Ensure compliance with BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Drive GMP standards and promote a strong quality culture throughout the business.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with Production and Operations teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor quality systems and ensure all documentation is maintained and up to date.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
About You
We're looking for an individual who can hit the ground running and quickly build credibility across the business.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a QA Manager, Quality Manager, or Senior QA position within food manufacturing.
- Bakery experience would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of BRCGS, HACCP, and food safety legislation.
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
